Application for entry in 2024

  • Application is online via the website.
  • The application form will be available from, Saturday 23 September 2023 until our closing date of midnight Thursday 30 November 2023.
  • Applicants in category 1 whose applications are received by our 30 November 2023 closing date will be contacted for a course consultation discussion.
  • Applicants in Category 2 whose applications are received by the 30 November 2023 closing date will be assessed and those applicants selected for further consideration will have an interview.
  • All applicants will hear from us by 16 December 2023 via email.

Course Consultation Discussion

Applicants in category 1

Following application, an appointment will be given for a telephone course consultation discussion which will take place before Christmas.  A recent progress report or predicted grades will be required for the discussion so that appropriate advice and guidance can be given about courses which match the applicant’s academic ability and career plans.

Interview

Applicants in category 2

Applicants selected for interview will have a telephone interview in January. The interview will be used together with the application form to decide whether the applicant will be offered a place. A recent progress report or predicted grades will be required for the discussion so that appropriate advice and guidance can be given about courses which match the applicant’s academic ability and career plans.

Offers

Category 1

Offers will be confirmed following the course consultation discussion.

Category 2

Final offers will be made just before February half term.

Our offer of a place is not subject to certain GCSE results however each subject has individual entry criteria. Please check our Subject Entry Criteria.

Welcome Day

Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 July 2024

All applicants who have received an offer will be invited to one of our welcome days.

Welcome Day is a great opportunity to find out more about us and attend some taster lessons.

College routines and facilities are introduced and there are talks by staff and our Student Council.  Advice on enrolment is also provided.

Enrolment

Enrolment will take place by phone. You will be given an appointment and a member of our enrolment team will we will ring you to complete your enrolment. We will spend as long as necessary and provide advice and guidance to enable you to enrol on an appropriate programme of study.

Enrolment is Wednesday 28 August 2024.

Induction

New students will need to attend our tutorial and subject lesson induction days on Wednesday 4 September and Thursday 5 September 2024.
